Here is some information about my notary services:
- I am a traveling notary only – I do not maintain an office.
- Do not sign your document until you meet with me.
- I am not an attorney. I will not provide legal advice.
Upon scheduling your appointment, I will need to know the type of notarial act that will be needed. If it does not have a notary certificate included or attached to the document, then you will need to inform me of what type of notarial act you will need. If you are still unsure of what type is needed, please contact a lawyer or the originator of the document for advice. Here are the types of notarial acts I can provide:
Acknowledgment: Certifies that a signer personally appeared before the notary, was identified by the notary, and acknowledged freely signing the document.
Jurats: Certifies that a signer personally appeared before the notary, was identified by the notary, took an oath or affirmation from the notary, and signed the document in the notary’s presence.
Oaths and Affirmations: Are solemn promises to a Supreme Being (oaths) or solemn promises on one’s own personal honor (affirmations) spoken in the notary’s presence.
Copy Certifications: Declares that a photocopy of an original document is true and correct.
Notary Fees: A $5.00 charge for each notarial act performed.
Travel Expense: Mileage is based on a round trip. Rates below are for travel services between 8:00am and 7:00pm Monday -
00 – 15 miles $20.00
16 – 30 miles $25.00
31 – 45 miles $30.00
46 – 60 miles $35.00
61 or more miles please call or email for an estimate.
Loan Signing Fees: $125 for packages up to 120 pages. Packages larger than 120 pages are an additional $25. These fees include printing, fax backs, and mileage.
